Webb, 25, played for the Royal Air Force XI and has impressed Dabbers boss Dave Cooke during pre-season.

A club spokesperson said: “The club are thrilled to welcome David to the Weaver Stadium and wish him the very best of luck for the new season.”

He goes straight in to contention for Saturday’s season opener against Gainsborough Trinity.
