Wednesday's First Division South action review

By David Watters

After suffering a humiliating 9-1 hammering at Chasetown, Loughborough Dynamo made it back-to-back wins in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South on Wednesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The rout on Saturday December 5 signalled the end to Scott Machin`s brief tenure as manager before Dynamo edged out Carlton Town 3-2 at home last weekend.

This time they won 2-0 at the Novus Stadium against Kidsgrove Athletic to swap places with Carlton and climb three points clear of the drop zone.

Bamoussa Cisse gave the visitors an 18th minute lead with a terrific strike. Leandro Browne eventually doubled in the 64th minute with what turned out to be the winning goal.

The home side did have chances, Grove`s Anthony Malbon hitting the bar and Nick Wellecomme having a shot cleared off the line as the hosts woke up too late.
