Wembley bound before a ball's kicked!

Ashton United could be guaranteed a Wembley cup final before the season proper has even kicked off.

The Evo-Stik NPL outfit’s shirt sponsors are on the road to Wembley after winning the Leeds area regional heat of the Selco Builders Warehouse 6-A-Side Cup.

The Premier Division’s club sponsors – Ashton Moss Selco Builders Warehouse – won through to September’s Wembley finals wearing Ashton’s first team strip and say they can't wait to don the colours again.

Ashton’s sponsorship hopefuls are no strangers to football or Wembley. Selco Builders Warehouse is the proud sponsor of The Masters Cup in 2012 for the third year running.

The competition, featuring former professionals and club ‘legends' and structured around six regional heats, runs alongside the in-house tournament.

Branch Manager Matt Keith is happy to admit that his company has now had more than a cash benefit from their sponsorship deal with Ashton United.

"We got through a tough group and the finals will be even harder but thanks to our relationship we’ll be going into them fitter and sharper after training with the club," said Keith.

Robins manager Danny Johnson will be hoping to emulate their shirt sponsors in September when his side kick off on the road to Wembley in the FA Cup’s First Qualifying Round.
