Whitby ground plans on hold

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the Seasiders’ development plans, which included upgrading the changing rooms, a relocated canteen, a classroom and a new roof on one of the stands.

A club spokesperson said: “In order to fulfil all of these tasks the club were reliant on an FA grant which was approved, however due to the current situation the grants system is being reviewed.

“The Board do have one idea to help fund some of the listed ideas, and you can play a big role in the club fulfilling this in a scheme that could see the club raise the required funds to fulfil some crucial work.”
