Wire Fundraise For Help The Heroes

Cantilever Park to host fundraiser.

WARRINGTON Town FC is teaming up with Help for Heroes for a special fund-raising event at Cantilever Park.

Supported by three local men who have recorded a special CD to help raise money for Help for Heroes a special charity night is taking place at the club on Friday, September 30, kick off 7.30pm.

Don Murphy, Mike O’Hallaran and Brain Morris teamed up to record two tracks (Impossible Dream and Heroes) produced at Mike Pilkington Studio in Newton free of charge.

After a very successful charity night evening held in April at St Stephen R.C. Club, they raised more than £2,000.

Now they they have now decided to have a repeat performance at the football club where they will be joined on stage with local entertainers and the CD will on sale throughout the night for just £3.00.

All proceeds from the evening will be shared, half to “Help for Heroes” and half to Warrington Town Academy.

A hot pot supper has been donated by local based Crazy Hog Catering to support the event.
