Woods, 24, has made 10 appearances in the National League North this season and goes straight into contention for the Yellows' FA Trophy tie away at Hebburn Town on Saturday.
He started out at St Helens Town and had a spell with Skelmersdale United before joining Southport in July 2019.
Woods signed a new deal with Southport, running until May 2024, back in January.
On the arrival, Warrington Town manager Mark Beesley said: “Connor’s a great signing for us. He’s someone we’ve been trying to get over the last few weeks.
“He’s someone who can play in a variety of positions across the front and someone who will give us a big boost. He’s played a lot of games in the league above, he’s someone who is motivated to come and do well.
“We’ve got him for a month so it’s a win-win situation for everybody. It gives us some breathing space, it’ll add competition for places that we need, and give some of the other lads chance to get some rest. It’s a big plus to get him on board.”
