Yellows learn FA Cup fate

Warrington Town will face Football League opposition in the FA Cup first round, if they can beat Halifax Town in tonight's replay.

The Yellows held their National League opponents to a 2-2 draw on Saturday, with many concluding that they deserved victory with a terrific performance.

They must now beat Halifax at The Shay to go in to the first round proper, where they would face League Two side Morecambe.

Warrington are the last EVO-STIK League representative in the competition after Marine, Witton Albion and Kidsgrove Athletic bowed out at the weekend.

The Yellows famously beat Exeter City 1-0 in 2014, the first and only time they have ever reached the first round proper, before losing to Gateshead in the second round.
