Analyst wanted to aid promotion hunt

Coalville Town

Coalville Town are hoping to add a video analyst to the coaching team of manager Adam Stevens by the time they kick off in the new Evo-Stik Northern Premier League campaign.

The Ravens, runners-up in First Division South in the last two seasons, are hoping to go one better next time around with more expert technical help and advice preparing for fixtures over the campaign. Officials at Owen Street announced on Tuesday that they are hoping to make an appointment in July after holding interviews next month for the voluntary role.

The successful candidate will work alongside Sean O’Callaghan, head analyst at the Leicestershire club, videoing matches and training sessions and keeping a record of player statistics to support Stevens and his coaches. He or she will be expected to attend home and away fixtures and at least one training session a week as well as living locally and possessing a full UK driver’s licence.

Officials say the post offers an exciting opportunity and the experience needed to progress in the football industry. The deadline for applications is 5pm on June 21 with interviews to be held on 28 June. Applications, including a covering letter and CV, should be sent to: coalvilletown.analyst@yahoo.com.
