The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's annual awards night in Blackpool pulled in more than half a million views and shares on social media!

The astonishing figure of 681,000 was notched up after Saturday night's annual bash at Blackpool's Hilton Hotel was broadcast live on Facebook and Twitter with fans at home and nearly 400 guests at the glittering event using #evostikawards17 to join in and congratulate the night's winners as the accolades were handed out.

The record-breaking figures couldn't have come at a better time with the EVO-STIK NPL's 68 clubs gearing up to win a share of a new £5,000 online prize fund from sponsors EVO-STIK for promoting their websites.

Announced at Saturday's Annual General Meeting as part of a new two year extension to their title sponsorship, EVO-STIK will hand out the cash at the end of 2017-18 campaign to the clubs driving the biggest increases to their official website and online traffic.

The weekend's blitz on social media comes after the EVO-STIK NPL's promotion play-offs in May trended in the UK on Twitter!
