Awards time for Heath and Setchell

North Ferriby United's Billy Heath and King's Lynn Town's Gary Setchell are picking up their October Evo-Stik NPL Manager of the Month Awards on Saturday.

League Finance Director and Marine Chairman Paul Leary is making the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division presentation to Villagers manager Heath before his Mariners take them on at Church Road in the league.

League representive John Beaumont will make the Evo-Stik NPL First Division South presentation at The Walks to Linnets manager Setchell before his side play Eastbourne Borough in the FA Trophy’s Third Qualifying Round.

Evo-Stik NPL First Division North winner Tommy Lawson was also handed his honour by Beaumont, the League’s representative making the presentation at the West Lancashire College Stadium last Saturday, pictured, before Skemersdale United’s 2-1 win over Ossett Town.

Lawson, who won the Evo-Stik First Division North accolade for the second time this season after Skem's flying start to the campaign in August, was also presented with a bottle of Famous Grouse whiskey to mark the early season managerial double.

Winning managers are presented with an inscribed certificate marking their achievement along with personalised items from the Errea benchwear range by representatives of the league and sponsors Bostik, the parent company of league title sponsors Evo-Stik.
