Backroom reshuffle for Radcliffe

Radcliffe have confirmed a number of new additions to Bobby Grant’s backroom staff.

Colin Hendry has changed his role from first team coach to assistant manager, replacing previous incumbent Phil Hackney who has left due to family commitments.

The former Scotland international has been with the club since October, and now becomes Grant’s right-hand man in the dugout.

Kyle Hall has also joined Boro as their new first team coach, with Lee Hill arriving as their new strength and conditioning lead and Dave Turner heading up the club’s scouting department.

Discussing the changes, manager Bobby Grant said: “For a young manager, I am delighted to have Colin as my Assistant Manager. His career speaks for itself and to have his experience and knowledge alongside me is priceless, both on and off the pitch.

“Kyle is a fantastic coach and someone who has a great understanding of football.

“Again he is someone who will add enormous amounts of quality to the football club. His work on the training pitch with the lads will be of the highest standards, which is what we need to achieve our goal.

“Lee is someone who has an amazing work ethic and only knows hard work, which is what this club is built on.

“His military background means he has the discipline and standards needed to improve on a daily basis. He is a brilliant addition to the team.

“Dave has joined the team as scouting lead and brings with him the attitude, work ethic and experience needed so that we can prepare the team for the opposition they will face each week.

“I am really happy to have Dave on board. He will be a really important part of the team moving forward.”

On the field, the club have confirmed the departure of Djavan Pedro following the conclusion of his loan spell from Salford City.

He made six appearances during his time at Stainton Park.
