Buxton duo join Ashton United

Ashton United have signed winger Jack McKay and prolific forward Jason Gilchrist from Buxton.
The pair will reunite with former boss Steve Cunningham, who was confirmed as the Robins’ new manager last week following the resignation of Michael Clegg.
Coincidentally, Gilchrist made his Bucks debut against Ashton United last season.
The pair started Saturday’s impressive 3-0 victory away at Warrington Rylands, with Gilchrist scoring twice at Gorsey Lane.
That result leaves the Robins 12th in the Northern Premier League table, five points adrift of the play-off places.
