Bailey Sloane joins hometown club

Young Accrington Stanley defender Bailey Sloane has joined Radcliffe on loan.

The 20-year-old will link up with his hometown club until the end of March.

Sloane was previously a scholar at AFC Fylde before his senior career began with Bury AFC in August 2020.

Following moves to Chester and Avro, Sloane signed for Clitheroe midway through the 2021/22 season.

In August 2021, he joined Accrington from Clitheroe for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-year deal with the club.

He has also enjoyed time on loan at AFC Telford United.

Sloane could go straight into contention ahead of Saturday’s trip to Guiseley in the Northern Premier League.
