Butterworth has spent the last three seasons with Mossley, and his impressive displays have caught the eye.
He made 38 appearances in the Pitching In NPL West Division - the second-most of any player in the squad - as the Lilywhites finished five points adrift of the play-offs.
On signing, he said: “It’s great to be here and I’m delighted to sign for Bamber Bridge.
"I’ve had interest in me from other clubs, but when I spoke to the manager and he sold the club and playing style, it was an easy decision to sign.
"I saw how strongly the team finished last season and fell agonisingly just short. The aim has got to be to go one better this season, and I want to play my part and help drive the team forward."
Bamber Bridge manager Jamie Milligan said: “Jordan’s been on our radar for some time and we’ve faced stiff competition from other clubs, but I’m delighted he’s decided to sign for us.
"He’s an excellent player and is a brilliant addition to our squad. The players we’ve signed so far are excellent signings, and we are building a really competitive and good footballing squad.
"I’m speaking to players constantly and hope to have more agreed soon!”
