Basford offer cut-price entry

Basford United are offering supporters cut price admission to their home games this weekend - Workington on Saturday (3pm) and Whitby Town on Monday (7.45pm).

Season ticket holders or those with a recent match ticket at Premier or Football League clubs can enter for just £5, whilst a family admission for four people is £10, a saving £5 on usual prices..

Basford will be looking to end their recent inconsistency, which is frustrating boss Martin Carruthers.

He said: "Again on Tuesday we followed up a win with a defeat and made too many errors and were punished for it.

"We have the quality in the side, we need to make it show on a regular basis and get into good habits and cut out the silly mistakes."
