BBC Radio Lancashire are bringing the staff and players of Chorley and AFC Fylde together for a special show previewing the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League clubs upcoming clash in the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy Final.

The Premier Division clubs meet at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium on March 17 and announced on Monday that a panel from each side had agreed to go head-to-head over the airwaves in the run-up to the final.

Hosted by presenter Andy Bayes, the one hour special will be recorded in front of a live audience at Chorley’s Victory Park Social Club next Monday night (March 10) from 7.30pm with the show being aired on the following Friday at 7pm, three days before the Monday night final.

The BBC's producers and officials from both clubs want as many Chorley and AFC Fylde fans as possible to take part and get involved in the broadcast.

Chorley Chairman Ken Wright said: "There’s a lot of interest in this game, given the friendly rivalry between the two clubs, and the fact Radio Lancashire want to shine a spotlight on it will only help to increase the interest levels.

"It promises to be a fantastic final at the Reebok so please show your support for your team and be part of the audience next Monday evening."

Admission to the event is free. Officials say the social club bar will be open with a charity raffle also taking place.
