FA Cup Second Round

The best of luck to the fans, players and officials of Blyth Spartans in the FA Cup's Second Round on Friday night at Hartlepool United from EVO-STIK Northern Premier League chairman Mark Harris and his directors and officers on behalf of everyone connected with the league.

The Premier Division club kick off at Victoria Park at 7.55pm live on Match of the Day on BBC2. As well as playing for a place in the FA Cup's Third Round and £27,000 in prize money, Tom Wade's side will bank a guaranteed £72,000 television fee.

First Division North Warrington Town collected a £67,500 TV bonus when they beat League Two Exeter City 1-0 in the FA Cup First Round last month in the first match to be shown live on the BBC TV since 2008. Like Spartans, they will bank another £72,000 bounty on Sunday when their lunchtime clash at Conference Premier Gateshead is screened live on BT Sport.
