They're up for the cup on new show!

With Blyth Spartans and Warrington Town proudly flying the flag for the league in the FA Cup this weekend, December's edition of the EVO-STIK NPL Show was guaranteed to be a cup special.

Millions of fans around the world are expected to watch both clubs in televised action at Hartlepool United on Friday night and Gateshead on Sunday respectively, and Ben Hughes, host of the monthly podcast for fans, players and officials, said his guests were definitely up for the cup when the show was recorded at the Magnet Inn in Stockport on Thursday night.

Released for download on Friday and produced by the team behind FCUM Radio, Warrington Town manager Shaun Reid and Blyth Spartans press officer Mark Carruthers are the lead guests on the cup special. Regular pundits James Heyes from the NPL Facebook Group, Ian Burke from BBC Radio Manchester and The Mirror's Aaron Flanagan also returned ahead of the FA Cup Second Round clashes.

The hour long show entitled 'I'll Get You, My Pretty', also looks at the performances of the league's clubs in the FA Trophy and features Stourbridge and their take so far on the campaign from Richard Clark, a member of the media team at the Premier Division's Glassboys.
