Baker blasted his Blues after they suffered a rude awakening to their 2017-18 EVO-STIK League South campaign on Saturday, a 3-1 reverse at the Lye Meadow home of newly promoted Midland League champions Alvechurch.
Baker - whose Blues host Belper Town on Tuesday night at Harrison Park and Cammell Laird in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday - also saw his side finish with ten men as they failed to recover from an early goal, going 2-0 down before Tom Grice's second half goal and Darren Chadwick's dismissal late on.
Baker, pictured, told fans: “Obviously I am disappointed – our start epitomised how the game went. We started poorly and never got going but our discipline let us down and that’s the biggest reason we lost today – not just for the red card. First, we give away the free-kick that led to their opening goal then we concede a penalty and finally we get a man sent off.”
Rob Stevenson is expected to recover from the knock he took on his ankle at Alvechurch ahead of the club's first home game of the season against the Nailers. Kick-off 7.45pm.
