Blues clash could sell out

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Ilkeston FC are bracing themselves for a rush of interest in their prestigious pre-season friendly against Premier League giants Chelsea after announcing ticket prices for the clash at the New Manor Ground.

The 2012 UEFA Champions League and 2013 UEFA Europa League winners are sending a team to the Premier Division club on Tuesday July 30 and optimism is high that the Robins can set a record crowd under their current name – as well as coming close to reaching the ground capacity of 3,029.

Tickets will be available from Monday June 3 at 10am. While tickets have been set aside for Robins supporters, fans are being encouraged to purchase early as demand to see the clash is expected to be high. Robins Chairman Dave Mantle said: "We are expecting tickets to go quickly so we advise anyone keen to see what promises to be a momentous game to secure their tickets early."

Ilkeston FC say supporters group members, season ticket holders and IFC Juniors will be given priority for the hottest tickets in town, with a maximum order of two each.

They can purchase Ron Brooks Toyota Stand reserved seat tickets at reduced rates of £10 for adults, £6 for concessions (65s and over) and £4 for juniors until June 10 on presentation of valid supporters group membership ID, season ticket or IFC Juniors 2012-13 season ticket. Seats in the newly-sponsored Quantum Stand, formerly known as the Clock Tower, are priced £15, with no concessions.

Any remaining seats in the Ron Brooks Toyota Stand will go general sale from June 11 and will be priced at £12 for adults, £8 concessions and £6 for children. General sale standing prices will be £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 Under 16s. Family tickets will also be available - covering two adults and two children - and will cost £24.

Ilkeston say tickets can be purchased at the ground in person or via the new hotline number: 0115 9442111. Credit Cards are accepted while postal applications will be charged an additional £1 postage fee. Ilkeston's office will be open for ticket sales from 10am to 3pm Monday to Fridays and from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.
