Bolton youngster joins the Dolly Blues

Lancaster City have announced the loan signing of defender Lamine Toure from Bolton Wanderers under 23s.

Toure, 18, made his first start for the Dolly Blues on Saturday in the 1-0 win against Ashton United at the Giant Axe.

The young centre-half made his senior debut for Bolton in the 5-1 victory over Salford City in the Papa John’s Trophy earlier this season.

He slots into a Lancaster side sitting 13th in the Northern Premier Division, and will fill in for the injured Calen Gallagher-Allison in defence.

Toure will be in contention ahead of Lancaster’s next game against Marine and will also be eligible for Bolton B team games during his loan spell.
