Bootle sign McDonald on loan from Yellows

Bootle have signed midfielder Matty McDonald on loan from Warrington Town.

The deal will see McDonald on loan until January 8.

McDonald has been plagued by injuries since joining the club in the summer following a successful trial – he has been limited to just one substitute appearance this season.

The youngster originally joined the club in July from Crewe Alexandra, having previously been on the books at Everton.

McDonald featured from the bench for Bootle in their weekend fixture with Kendal Town, scoring a goal on his debut to help the side secure a 4-2 away victory.
