Now 61 and a respected pundit on Irish television after working as Ireland's assistant manager, Brady, pictured, has been booked as the guest speaker at the club's 50th Sportsmen's Dinner at the DCJ Group Arena on Thursday 22 March.
The former Gunners, West Ham, Sampdoria, Juventus, Internatzionale and Ascoli midfielder played 72 times for his country and will be in exalted Gladiators company including all four scorers from the EVO-STIK League Premier Division club's 4-0 win over Scarborough at Wembley - wing wizard Colin Oxley, Colin Dawson and brothers Tom and Nick Fenoughty.
Mick Fenoughty - who also turned out in the only sibling trio to ever play in a Wembley final - will also be at the event in the Shorts Lounge, along with several other members of the team including keeper David Fell and striker Peter Scott.
Oxley was also in the Gladiators side which reached the third round of the FA Cup for the only time in the club's history in 1977 and Matlock Town chairman Tom Wright is looking forward to a memorable night for their fans, players, officials and sponsors after tickets went on sale for the milestone event.
He said: “It should be a special evening for everyone who’s there and we’d like to see the place packed. Seeing the lads again will evoke a lot of great memories, they were certainly special players who did the club and the town proud."
