The stadium's Graham Lounge is set to be converted into a hospitality suite for the club's clash with Witton Albion in the EVO-STIK League's top flight on Saturday 7 April as part of a trial to make it a permanent fixture next season on Saturday matchdays.
Announced by the Mariners on Monday and offering excellent value for money at only £30 a head, the trial hospitality packages include an optional photograph on the pitch, match entry, a pre-match two course meal, half-time tea and coffee, a complimentary matchday programme and pre-match meeting with the manager.
The Graham Lounge can accommodate up to 40 people sitting at tables of up to eight and the Mariners are now inviting bookings from businesses and small or large groups of home or away fans for the pilot run.
Marine vice-chairman Dave McMillan said: “We have fantastic clubroom facilities at the MTA which are ideally suited to pre-match hospitality. A number of clubs are offering similar packages with great success and we are confident that ours will also prove very popular at an affordable cost, which of course also includes admission and a two course meal."
He added: "It’s aimed at corporate clients but also fans who might be celebrating a special occasion, the trial game is certain to sell out quickly so make sure you don’t miss what is sure to be a great day at the MTA.”
Marine chairman Paul Leary said: “This is a great initiative by James Leary and Dave McMillan and I am sure that it will be a success and provide the basis to launching the hospitality packages on Saturdays for next season and hopefully beyond.
"It is important that new commercial incomes are explored and we have seen the success of offering these type of packages at other non-league clubs. We therefore have set aside the Graham Lounge to provide these match day facilities for visiting fans who want to make the day a special occasion for whatever reason.”
