Bramwell’s third Whitby loan spell ends

Young defender Jamie Bramwell has returned to parent club Grimsby Town following the conclusion of his latest loan spell at Whitby Town.

Bramwell made 15 appearances for the Seasiders during his three months on the Yorkshire Coast.

He departs with the club 17th in the Northern Premier League table.

His final appearance came in their 4-2 defeat at league leaders South Shields on Boxing Day.

Announcing his departure, a club statement said: “We would like to thank Jamie for his fantastic efforts in a Whitby shirt, and we wish him all the best in his future career.”
