EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Coalville Town unveiled Tommy Brookbanks as their new manager on Monday.

Brookbanks, pictured, along with his coaching staff of assistant manager Mark Harvey, first team coach Lee Morris and keepers' coach Jason McGuire, made the switch from First Division South rivals Loughborough Dynamo to Owen Street.

The former Carlton Town, Stamford and Quorn manager and his backroom team were appointed just 48 hours after the departure of Jimmy Gray on Saturday night in the wake of the club's 4-1 FA Trophy exit at home to Mickleover Sports. Gray was appointed at the start of September as the successor to Adam Stevens who stood down after eight successful years guiding the Leicestershire club.

Coalville Town chairman Glyn Rennocks told the club's website he is looking forward to seeing their new manager use his extensive experience to take the club back to the heights they'd enjoyed in recent years.

Rennocks said: "We are delighted to be able to welcome someone of Tommy's experience and track record to the club. We are looking forward to working together to take the club forward and build on the successes of recent seasons. Everyone at the club wishes the new management a warm welcome to Owen Street."

Brookbanks takes charge for the first time on Saturday when the Ravens host Newcastle Town in league action.
