Bull thanks fans before exile ends

Scarborough Athletic chairman Trevor Bull has thanked the club's fans for their support over the 2016-17 EVO-STIK Northern Premier League campaign.

Bull, who replaced the late Dave Holland at the Seadogs after his unexpected and widely mourned passing in February after a short illness, thanked supporters as the EVO-STIK NPL First Division North club prepared to return home to Scarborough this summer after more than a decade in exile to play at their new ground at Weaponess.

His predecessor drove the campaign to bring the club home and Bull praised supporters who'll be hoping to cheer them to promotion to the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight in their first season back after their run to the play-offs of Steve Kittrick's side this term.

The Scarborough Athletic chairman said: "Thank you Seadogs new and old for your support throughout the season. I can assure you that the board of directors are working extremely hard to ensure we are in good shape both on and off the pitch next season. Our next game is back in Scarborough. How good does that sound? Up the Boro."
