Hucknall manager Brett Marshall has been one of the busiest bosses in Evo-Stik NPL First Division South this week after bringing striker Alex Ford on board and resigning defender Lee McAnulty.
McAnulty, who can also play in midfield and came through the youth ranks to become a first team regular at Nantwich Town, first joined the Yellows from Stafford Rangers back in January and Marshall believes he’ll add much needed experience to the squad.
Ford signed on Friday from Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Ilkeston. Aged 20, the tall forward joined Ilkeston on a one-year deal in the summer following a successful trial after being spotted playing locally for AFC Beeston.
Hucknall’s manager believes that player has significant potential having scored 31 goals in just twenty-three games for Beeston last season.
