Celtic safe, secure and all smiles!

Steve Burr was all smiles as his Stalybridge Celtic side were honoured on Saturday for turning their season in the EVO-STIK League's top flight around when it counted.

Named alongside Ossett Albion and Lincoln United in EVO-STIK League North and South respectively as one of March's winners of the Northern Premier League's monthly 'Club of the Month' accolades, Burr is pictured collecting an engraved glass trophy to mark their achievement and a bottle of spirits to celebrate with from NPL representative and coaching development officer Mark Ogley.

To win their first monthly award of the EVO-STIK League's historic 50th anniversary 2017-18 campaign and set themselves up to go again next term, Celtic banished any lingering fears of relegation for fans at Bower Fold by winning four out of five outings in the Premier Division to bank 12 points at the business end of the season and climb well clear of trouble by the start of April.
