Challinor's bubbling as Manager of the Month

AFC Fylde’s manager Dave Challinor will be cracking open a bottle of bubbly courtesy of the league and sponsors Bostik after being named on Monday as September’s Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Manager of the Month.

Trafford’s Garry Vaughan took the honour in Evo-Stik NPL First Division North and Coalville Town’s Adam Stevens was named as the top manager in Evo-Stik NPL First Division South.

Each led their sides on unbeaten league runs last month and will pick up their prizes – inscribed certificates and personalised items from the Errea benchwear range – at forthcoming matches from a representatives of the league and sponsors Bostik, the parent company of league title sponsors Evo-Stik.

Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division manager Challinor can toast his success this Saturday with a bottle of Pol Roger champagne when his side take on Solihull Moors at home in the FA Cup after judges decided his numerous previous awards merited extra recognition. League representative John Beaumont will make the presentation alongside a representative from Bostik. Challinor’s side have climbed to fifth in the table and are only three points behind current leaders Marine on the back of their September form.

Trafford’s Vaughan is also due to receive his award this weekend when Marine Chairman and League Finance Director Paul Leary will conduct the presentation on behalf of the sponsors before Trafford kick off against the Mariners in the FA Cup’s Third Qualifying Round. Trafford are second from top of Evo-Stik NPL First Division North and five points behind leaders Mossley but have two games in hand following their performances in September.

Coalville’s Stevens will pick up his award on Saturday October 13 from League representative Mark Ogley before his top of the table team take on Leek Town at home in Evo-Stik NPL First Division South. Coalville are currently six points clear at the top of the chasing pack led by King’s Lynn Town.
