Coleshill Town appoint new manager

Coleshill Town have named Craig Nicholls as the club's new manager.

Nicholls replaces Paul Hathaway, who has been relieved of his duties less than three months after succeeding Dave Stringer.

Hathaway won his opening two games in charge, but just two victories came in the 14 games which followed.

He leaves with the Coleman sat 14th in the Pitching In NPL Midlands Division.

The club have now turned to Nicholls, who has left his role as first team coach of Southern League side Bromsgrove Sporting to take up the opportunity.

On his departure, a Bromsgrove statement said: "Craig wanted the opportunity to take up a manager’s position and felt this was an offer he couldn’t turn down.

"Following an approach from their chairman to speak with him, we granted permission for this to happen, as he is was not on contract with us so therefore could not stand in his way.

"We thank Craig for his efforts and wish him well at Coleshill and for the future."

Nicholl could make his debut in the Pack Meadow dugout this Saturday when Coventry Sphinx visit Warwickshire.
