Crewe kid set for loan debut

Nantwich Town manager Jimmy Quinn could throw new loan signing Paris Bateman from Crewe Alexandra straight into his squad for Saturday's trip to Hednesford Town.

The 19-year-old joined on Friday and the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Dabbers believe he'll be a useful addition at the Weaver Stadium until his deal ends in the first week of March.

Premier Division manager Quinn said: "I have watched Paris develop over the years and he is an exciting prospect who is versatile and can play at both left and right full-back as well as in central midfield. I am looking forward to working with him."
