Cup special and double the debate!

By David Watters

Fans of the EVO-STIK NPL Show's hit stable of podcasts are doubling up on their weekly dose of debate over another crucial weekend of action around the Northern Premier League.

After releasing a weekly EVO-STIK NPL Show special looking ahead to next week's Integro League cup semi-finals soon after 6pm on Friday, the latest edition of the monthly EVO-STIK NLP Division One Show was out within hours for listeners to enjoy a second hour long podcast.

Hosted as always by Ben Hughes and the NPL's social media officer James Heyes, both shows feature a quartet of managers with the bosses at Atherton Collieries, Hednesford Town, South Shields and Coalville Town all looking ahead to their chances of reaching the final of this season's Integro League Cup when they meet in the last four next Thursday night.

The duo are also joined by Stalybridge Celtic manager Steve Burr after his side collected March's Club of the Month honours in the top flight and two other special guests - Switch Radio's Kevin Moore on Sutton Coldfield Town's future and Whitby Town Radio's Andrew Snaith with a full fixture preview of Saturday's action.

Featuring the managers of Trafford, Stamford, Chasetown and Sheffield FC, the spin-off EVO-STIK NPL Division One Show also hears from Mossley on the success of their community fund and carries the latest news on the merger plans of Ossett Albion and Ossett Town to found a new Ossett United this summer in time for next season.

The EVO-STIK NPL Show's weekly and monthly podcasts returned last August campaign to rave reviews to build on their best ever listening figures last term. Still available on iTunes as well as Audioboom and produced as always by the team behind FCUM Radio, the podcasts are being sponsored for the fourth season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK.

Since last season the weekly EVO-STIK NPL Show, monthly podcast and EVO-STIK NPL Division One Show have also been available via their own button on the right hand side of the home page of the league's official website.
