Cup triumph sets up double chance

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Rushall Olympic are aiming to record a Staffordshire double after beating Port Vale 2-1 to win the Staffordshire Senior Cup.

The Pics, pictured celebrating at Vale Park after beating the Football League club’s youngsters on their own turf, are heading to Walsall’s Bescot Stadium on Monday 12 May to meet First Division South Chasetown in an all Evo-Stik NPL Walsall Senior Cup Final.

Stanley Mugisha and James Dance struck within a minute of each other midway through the first half for the Premier Division’s Pics on Wednesday night before Gary O’Neil finally pulled one back for the League One outfit with six minutes to go to ensure a nervous last few minutes for Pics manager Neil Kitching and the club's travelling support.
