Dalton steps up recovery

City of Liverpool defender Danny Dalton took part as the Purps returned to first team training at the weekend.

Dalton suffered an Achilles injury in the opening moments of the FA Cup tie against Warrington Town back in September, which ruled him out for the rest of the season.

Manager Craig Robinson got his squad together for the first time since the coronavirus outbreak, splitting it into groups of five throughout Saturday morning.

Robinson and his backroom team oversaw non-contact and socially distant drills consisting of ball work and fitness activities.
