The Blues are keeping their fingers crossed for an appearance on the hit Saturday morning show before the Preliminary Round clash after the matchday programe for their EVO-STIK League South fixture with Cleethorpes Town on Tuesday night featured an 'Augmented Reality' section.
Thanks to the IT skills of one of the club's volunteers who teaches life skills at Doncaster College and introduced the innovation, fans were able to download an app onto which turned photos from the matchday magazine into video clips on their mobiles!
Excited officials at Westfield Lane say they are planning to get even more involved with AR technology over the course of the 2017-18 campaign after it's successful introduction led to the chance to fly the flag for the EVO-STIK League in front of millions on the long-running football magazine show, pictured.
Well-known Torquay United fan Helen Chamberlain left Soccer AM after more than 20 years on the sofa earlier this month. The 50-year-old TV host helped the programme gain a cult after starting out on the football show in 1995 alongside Tim Lovejoy.
