Donny look forward to loan dividend

Doncaster Rovers are looking forward to Danny Amos coming back as a better player after a loan spell in the EVO-STIK League with Buxton.

The League One club's U18s coach Paul Stancliffe told the left-back that his spell at Silverlands is vital for his development before he made his debut in the EVO-STIK League's top flight on Saturday in a 2-1 defeat at Barwell.

Despite being a second year scholar, the teenager, pictured, has already signed on pro terms after a breakthrough 2017 which saw him represent Northern Ireland U19s and make his first start for Donny's first-team.

The defender arrived at the end of last week on an initial one month deal and Stancliffe told Donny's website: “Danny’s done ever so well this season. He has made his international debut, made his first-team debut and got his professional contract. So him going out gives him a bit more men’s football, that’s important for him as getting that experience is what will help him develop.”
