Doodson showpiece open to all

Farsley’s Throstle Nest ground has been chosen to host The Doodson Sport Cup Final.

Holders North Ferriby United take on Curzon Ashton in the climax to the Evo-Stik NPL’s League Challenge Cup on Tuesday April 23. Neutral supporters from all 66 league clubs are welcome with tickets on sale on the night for the 7.45pm kick off.

First Division North Curzon Ashton beat Premier Division Matlock Town 2-1 away to book their berth while the Premier Division's title-chasers beat First Division North Cammell Laird by the same scoreline at Church Lane.

The Villagers be hoping for a repeat of last season's final which saw them defeat Rushall Olympic 4-1.
