Double signing for the Robins

Ashton United have confirmed the signings of striker Kielen Adams and midfielder Dana Amaral.

Adams, 21, joins from Premier Division rivals Marine, netting on three occasions this season so far.

He started his career with Bradford’s Under 18s side before having spells with Oldham Athletic, Clitheroe and Macclesfield- joining the Lilywhites in March of this year.

Amaral, 19, signed from Championship side Preston North End on loan, working his way through the youth setup there.

The young midfielder will slot straight into the centre of the park for the Robins, and will look for more first-team minutes under his belt before he returns to PNE.

The two additions to Michael Clegg’s side will go straight into contention to make their debut, ahead of their Premier Division match-up against Bamber Bridge.
