Drew, who was instrumental in running the 2015-16 EVO-STIK NPL champions before stepping down in 2014 to have her first baby and concentrate on running her own IT consultancy, will work closely alongside league secretary Angie Firth.
Drew, pictured alongside Quakers official Dave Mills, joined the EVO-STIK NPL this week in a part-time role before starting today (Friday). Her main responsibilities will including keeping a track of player registrations and the lifelong Darlington fan is delighted to be back.
She said: “I am really looking forward to starting work with the league. Non-League football is a huge part of my life and this is a wonderful chance to re-connect with old friends and make new ones within the game.
"During my time in this league with Darlington it was clear that it was both a professional and forward-looking league, and I hope I can add to the skills and experience available. I’d like to thank the Board for their confidence in me and for giving me this opportunity.”
EVO-STIK NPL chairman Mark Harris said: "I am delighted to announce that the team of league officers has been strengthened with the appointment of Laura Drew as administration officer."
