O'Neill, 21, has hit 19 goals in 30 appearances this season for the Storks, having joined the Hallmark Security League Premier Division club in the summer from Atherton Collieries.
It is no secret that Ellison, whose team is in home league action tomorrow against Prescot Cables, has been actively looking for increased forward options and he is delighted to have landed O'Neill, who as well as being a natural scorer is also an excellent technician.
Ello said: "Liam's a young forward who was a pro at Crewe.
"He's been with Airbus, Colls and most recently Padhiam where his strike rate has been impressive.
"He will be a great addition to our attacking line.
"He had a number of clubs chasing his signature so I am really pleased that he's decided to come to Linnets."
The EVO-STIK League West Division side recently lost striker Connor McCarthy to Warrington Town.
