Ryan Laight returns to Steels as first team coach

Stocksbridge Park Steels have announced the appointment of Ryan Laight as first team coach with immediate effect.

Laight returns to the club for his second stint after three years.

As a player, Laight started his career at Barnsley, and featured for Stocksbridge Park Steels before retiring.

The club added: "Ryan now feels he needs a further challenge and has offered his services back at the club that he has so much passion for, saying I cant wait to get back to the hands on coaching and I see Stocksbridge as a great opportunity to see how far we can go, the club has the foundations to be successful both on and off the pitch, and I want to be a part of it.

"Welcome Home Ryan."
