Midfielder Sidi Sanogo Fofana has joined the Blues from fellow Pitching In NPL West Division play-off rivals Runcorn Linnets.
He has scored once in 37 appearances this season.
On his arrival, Clitheroe manager Dave Dempsey said: “We have been shot with injuries and suspension of late and we needed to act quickly to bring someone in.
"When I heard Sidi may be available, it was a no-brainer. He will be a great asset to the club for the run-in and hopefully be able to play a big part in achieving something with this football club, come the end of the season.
"His physicality, athleticism and technical qualities will allow him to slot into our midfield and be an integral part of the group."
Also making the move to Shawbridge is young Morecambe forward Jamie Nicholson, who has linked up with the club on a 28-day loan.
He has spent time around the Shrimps’ first team setup and was involved in their Emirates FA Cup ties against Newport County and Tottenham.
“Jamie comes into the squad adding a lot of quality and with a huge pedigree from Morecambe FC,” Dempsey said.
“Jamie can play in all areas across the frontline, and scoring over 25 goals last campaign, I am hoping he can show that form and goal scoring prowess in the blue and white of Clitheroe."
