Proud officials at the First Division North club say fans with skills in everything from carpentry to plastering, plumbing, decorating and tiling, have all worked tirelessly while giving up their valuable time over recent months to revamp the venue for matchdays as well as future business and community events.
Social club manager Noel Gallagher, pictured with Witton Albion and EVO-STIK NPL chairman Mark Harris, is excited about the future for the venue at the NetDec Stadium, now serving Tatton real ales along with offering a great assortment of hot food from its match-day kitchen.
Gallagher said: “The work that has been done by the supporters of Witton Albion over the last few months is superb.
"It really is a great venue, not only on match days but for all other types of events. We can now feel confident that we have an offering which will attract lots of new business from across the area.”
Lifelong supporter and owner of JP Ceramics Jim Powell was one of the band of skilled volunteers who gave their time and efforts to the cause.
Powell added: “Witton supporters are very proud of this club and we wanted to make our social club a great place for other teams to visit, before and after games."
