With the deadline of 7.30pm on Friday (29 June) fast approaching, the NPLFA's students and their friends and families are rushing to pick their top strike and runners-up from the 2017-18 campaign from a field of 10 nominations.
Thanks to FilmMyMatch, the ground-breaking academy's media partners who film every game and have also produced a weekly Match of the Day style highlights show for the last two seasons, online footage of all the goals has been attracting thousands of views in Facebook, Twitter and Instagram since the polls opened earlier in June.
Urging fans to register their choices before the deadline, an NPLFA spokesperson said: "There are ten great individual strikes and team goals to choose from and the hashtag with the most individual votes on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram will win the competition.
"Vote now before the poll closes on Friday evening and whatever the final result, congratulations to all the students who have been nominated for scoring some of the most memorable goals of another fantastic season."

Still the only league-wide academy in English football combining sport with education in order to provide career pathways into the football industry, the NPLFA's 12 clubs welcomed their fourth intake of students last season and will educate and train even more next term after Brighouse Town and Rushall Olympic announced they were joining the ground-breaking football and education programme.
Thanks to its success since being launched in 2014 at five pilot clubs with the backing of the Football Association, NPLFA clubs now benefit from a host of financial and other benefits extending to their first teams including sponsorships, kit and equipment deals and excellent income generation educating students to degree course level.
NPLFA students are also providing a conveyor belt of talent for the Northern Premier League. At the last count, nearly 40 had graduated to first team football or higher while many others are now tapping into US scholarships or continuing their studies to degree course level following the launch of a new partnership with Loughborough University last summer.
