Housebuilders offer their support to Hednesford

One of largest British based housebuilding companies has thrown its support behind Hednesford Town after Taylor Wimpey agreed a sponsorship deal with the Pitmen.

Taylor Wimpey, who this autumn started to construct a new housing estate close to the Keys Park home of Hednesford, have now given their backing as part of a sponsorship deal over the course of the next two seasons.

Football club Chairman, Steve Price, said: “I’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their recent sponsorship of Hednesford Town Football Club and it is a pleasing to be working with them over the course of the next two seasons.”

The housebuilders will now have an extra presence at Keys Park in the form of pitch-side advertising boards, matchday programme advertising as well as being listed alongside the official club sponsors.

Elaine Cartwright, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West Midlands, added: “Here at Taylor WImpey we’re proud to be supporting Hednesford Town Football Club. Football teams play an important part in local communities and we’re delighted to sponsor the club. We wish Hednesford Town FC the best of luck in their upcoming matches.”

This agreement comes about following the new estate that is being constructed near Keys Park - Cherry Blossom.

The estate is a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes off Keys Park Road, on the eastern edge of Hednesford. Once complete the development will have 119 properties. A range of incentives such as Help to Buy and Part Exchange are on offer at the development to make the move as simple and affordable as possible.
