Evans reinforces at Roms

Romulus

Romulus manager Richard Evans has added four new faces to beef up his his struggling Evo-Stik NPL First Division South squad.

Roms, still second from bottom after Saturday's game at Lincoln was frozen off, announced on Monday that Tipton Town defender Jack Stone had signed along with striker Marcus Brown and midfielders Graham Deakin and Luke Keen.

Evans stepped up efforts to lift the club out of what they believe is a false position after their successful FA Trophy run this season.

Brown, rated as a 20 goal plus a season striker, becomes his second new forward in as many weeks after Richard Gregory arrived.

Midfielder Keen arrived having recently left Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side Bedworth United. He was previously with Rugby Town and Stafford Rangers. Fellow midfielder Deakin counts Halesowen Town, Bromsgrove Rovers, Redditch United and Walsall among his former clubs.

Both have been regulars at Conference level over a long period of time.
