Evo-Stik Club of the Month Awards - December 2018

Newly-promoted to the West Division, Linnets currently sit top of the table and have been crowned Club of the Month for December - the second time they’ve won the award this season.

They won four league games in December, as well as coming from two goals down to draw against Glossop North End, as well as progressing in the Integro League Cup - beating Premier Division opposition on penalties for the second successive round.

In the Premier Division, Farsley Celtic were named Club of the Month as they moved within one point of leaders Nantwich over the festive period.

They won all five of their league games in December, also beating Scarborough in the Integro League Cup and going down bravely to National League North side AFC Telford United in the FA Trophy.

Cleethorpes Town have been rewarded for their recent resurgence by winning the Club of the Month award in the EVO-STIK League East Division.

They have won five of their last eight games having previously won one of their first 12 and have climbed to 12th in the table.

December saw an impressive win at leaders Morpeth Town, as well as victories over Spalding United and Lincoln United, as well as a home draw with Ossett United.

All three clubs will receive an engraved permanent memento and a 1ltr bottle of spirit at an upcoming presentation before a game.
