Evo-Stik League Manager of the Month - October

By Alan Allcock

Simon Clark - Worksop Town, Richard Ord - Durham City, Terry Fleming - Lincoln United.

The Evo-Stik “Manager of the Month” awards for October have gone to Worksop Town’s new boss Simon Clark whilst another new appointment, Durham City’s Richard Ord, landed the First Division North accolade with Lincoln United’s Terry Fleming taking the First Division South prize.

Former Stamford manager Simon Clark was appointed by Worksop in the aftermath of a 4-0 defeat at Marine since when he has taken the “Tigers” out of the relegation zone and also secured progress in the FA Trophy with four wins and two draws in his six games since taking charge.

Richard Ord took sole charge of Durham when co-manager Lee Collings stood down at the end of September and during his first full month in the hot seat on his own Ord led the North East side to a 100% record in six games four of which were away.

It was a topsy-turvy month in the First Division South with seemingly everybody beating everybody else. Lincoln United’s Terry Fleming, however, produced the most consistent record with four wins and two draws in his club’s seven games with the one defeat coming at the hands of Premier Division North Ferriby United in the FA Trophy.
