FA Youth Cup - First Round Proper

The FA Youth Cup begins the First Round Proper this week, with a trio of Evo-Stik NPL clubs represented.

North Ferriby United have arguably the toughest task ahead as they take on Crewe Alexandra - a club famous for the quality of their youth teams, with Dean Ashton, Danny Murphy and David Platt just three of their best known graduates. Alex also put paid to AFC Fylde's youngsters in last year's First Round.

Marine, meanwhile, travel to a Bradford City team that plays in the Football League Youth Alliance, and Sheffield FC head to the North-East to take on Darlington, who reached the Third Round last season.
